The food safety risk is related to a confirmed presence of a bacteria in one batch of cheese sauce and for precautionary measures all batches are recalled.
No complaints regarding food poisoning have been reported so far.
The bacteria can cause symptoms such as nausea and vomiting. If any symptoms occur they typically resolve within 24 hours.
Paulig is in close contact with the supplier of the product to ensure that measures are taken to prevent the problem from recurring.
Instructions for consumers
Consumers who have purchased any affected product batch shall not consume the product and contact local consumer service to request compensation.
