We are looking for a proactive, curious and collaborative Communications Manager to join our international Corporate Communications and Brand team! The position is permanent and located in Roeselare, Belgium.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of driving Paulig’s employee engagement and corporate brand development through impactful and proactive communications in a growing business. Paulig has a tortilla & chips factories (known as Poco Loco) and close to 800 employees in Roeselare, Belgium. The operations are expanding with the opening of the new factory in summer 2022.

As a Communications Manager you will be a member of Paulig’s international Corporate Communications & Brand team. In this broad role, you will be working closely with the local leadership team, HR, Supply Chain and Sourcing organisation as well as other internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities Of The Role

  • Manage both internal and external communications in Belgium
  • Drive employee engagement, foster dialogue and enable pauligians to work as employee ambassadors
  • Produce communications materials and content (e.g. news, info screen materials, company presentations and website content)
  • Act as a business partner and consult internal stakeholders in communications
  • Develop positive reputation and employer brand for Paulig in Belgium
  • Support in media relations, issues management and crisis communications in Belgium
  • Participate in Strategy communication development and deployment
  • Participate in other corporate communications projects

What We Appreciate

  • University degree in communications, marketing, social sciences, business administration or similar
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within corporate communications, especially internal communications. Experience from a manufacturing company is a plus
  • Solid experience from creating employee and change communications
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills
  • Track record of successfully developing group level programs and leading projects
  • Ability to network and cooperate effectively with internal and external partners in an international environment
  • Curious and courageous mindset towards the future and ability to inspire others
  • Proactive, collaborative and result-oriented way of working
  • Ability to work independently
  • Good communication and influencing skills
  • Fluency in English and Dutch, French is a plus
